RULES AND REGULATIONS
    Hours of Opening
  • The Library shall open on all working days from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM. (Saturday up to 3 PM ) The circulation counter shall be closed half an hour before the closing of the Library
  • Admission to the Library
  • All trainees, teachers and non-teaching staff are allowed to entre Library
  • Other persons desirous of using the library shall take permission from Principal and Librarian
  • All personal belongings except purses and not books shall not be allowed to be carried with the readers in the library. These shall be kept at the property counter
  • Conduct within the Library
  • Silence shall be strictly observed in the Library
  • Sleeping is strictly prohibited
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited
  • No person shall write upon, damage or make any mark upon any book…etc. belonging to the library
  • Loan privileges
  • Books borrowed against Daily Issue Register must not be taken out of the Reading Room or must be returned on every date of issue
  • At the end of the day a trainee borrower may however presents the issued book against daily issue to him and have it issued again to over night use ( if urgency ). Such a book must be returned at the first hour of the next day
  • The trainee borrower may retain book from him / her for semester end ( B.Ed. ) / year end (D.El.Ed.). A fine of Rs. – 1.00 per day par volume will be charged after due date of return
  • Teachers may borrow maximum10 books. Non Teaching staff may barrow maximum 03 books. At the end of the semester / year Teacher and Non-Teaching staff will return all books and may issue another books
  • Periodical Publications, directories, work difficult to replace Referance books, shall not be issued generally expect the permission of the Librarian
  • The Librarian shall have the power to refuse or issue of a book or he may recall any books without assigning any reason therefore
  • When a book is received from Library should be examind carefully and the attention of the Librarian called to any defect or damage otherwise the borrower is responsible for the defects
  • The borrower is responsible for lossor damage of the books borrowed against his / her name
  • Loss of card must forth with be brought to the notice of the Librarian in writing
  • It is to be clearly understood that the card holder is liable for any book borrowed on a lost even after the intimation of the loss of a card and that the library does not undertake any responsibility in such matters
  • Duplicate cards may be issued on Payments of Rs. 50.00 only
  • The Library card is to be returned by the trainee before from getting final marksheet
  • The books may be renewed if the same are not in demand or are not reserved by other readers. The renewal will be done on the physical presentation of the books
  • The amount of overdue charge will be paid in conscience Box by the borrower
  • Loss of Books
  • If one book of a set is damaged / lost, the whole set shall be liable to be replaced
  • A person shall be responsible for any damage / lost done by him / her to the books or other property of library. He will be required to replace such books or other property. If the item is not available, the person shall have to pay values as fixed by the Governing Body of the Institution from time to time
  • When a user has any complaint about the services provided by the Library , he / she should not enter into argument with the Library staff, instead they are advised to bring it to the notice of the Librarian
  • Violation of any of the rules will lead to fine and forfeiture of this privilege
  • These Library Rules may be altered or amended or new rules may be approved by the Library committee
